Wizards vs. Vampires?

"When you can live forever, what do you live for?"

As we all know, the Twilight saga had caught the eyes of the readers last 2006; then last November 2008 it finally turned into a film in the big screen. Thus, making it even more addictive to tons of fans. The vampire Edward Cullen bit them apparently.

On the other hand, the Harry Potter movie series that is shown annually for 5 years now-- is also a sticky glue that is hard to remove. Harry Potter truly put wizard fanatics into his spell.

Hence, the two paperback-turned-film is both in the cravings of movie buffs.

But the question is: who is more predominant?

It depends on you, reader(s), in your own point of view. For me I`m quite neutral, though. :)
In my vantage point, both of them have their own distinct identity in terms of the story, theme, genre.
But then again, it can`t be helped to ask which is better, right? ü
